Happy New Year!

I took a couple of weeks off over the festive season and as such haven’t added anything to the blog over that time!

As my first post of 2013 I thought I should wish you all a very belated ‘Happy New Year’ followed by a “hope you all ate lots and had a jolly good time” comment!

I will be posting blog entries regarding TAG papers, BBNPA projects and various other related branches of heritage and archaeology so keep and eye out and have a read!

All the best for the year ahead!

To Liverpool!

Tomorrow I will be embarking on a six and a half hour train journey to Liverpool! I’m heading up north (ish) to attend the TAG (Theoretical Archaeology Group) 2012 (
http://www.liv.ac.uk/sace/livetag/index.htm
) conference. This year’s event will be investigating ‘Live Archaeology’; how do we present archaeology to the public? To what extent does archaeology utilise the media? What is the importance of community archaeology? Hopefully these questions and more will be answered by the end of the conference on Wednesday!

I am planning to publish some posts about the sessions I attend in order to give an insight into the world of archaeological conference!
